These terms govern your use of truetimeconverter.com (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please don't use the site.

What the Service is

True Time Converter is a free, browser-based time zone converter, world clock and meeting planner. It is a static website: everything you see is rendered by your own browser, using your browser's built-in implementation of the IANA time zone database. There are no accounts, no sign-ups and no paid tiers.

Accuracy and time-critical decisions

Conversions are computed through the official IANA database, including daylight-saving rules, at the moment your browser renders them. We do our best to keep the data current, but time zone rules can change at any time — governments move boundaries, rename zones or alter daylight-saving schedules with little notice, and your browser may lag behind the latest rules. Conversions for future dates are always subject to change.

Don't rely on the Service for decisions where an error would be costly or time-critical — flights and visa windows, legal filings, medical dosing, shift handovers, live events. Double-check those with the relevant authority or a second source. The Service is a helpful reference, not a certified legal or safety instrument.

Acceptable use

You may use the Service freely, including for work, study and publishing screenshots. Please don't copy the site or substantial parts of it and pass them off as your own product or website, don't use automated tools to scrape the pages wholesale or place abnormal load on them, and don't attempt to disrupt or interfere with the Service. Normal use — linking to it, bookmarking it, citing it in your own articles — is always welcome.

Intellectual property

The site's design, text and code are © truetimeconverter.com. Flag artwork is served from flagcdn.com, which distributes world flags as public domain graphics. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts under their open licences. Time zone data itself originates from the IANA database, which is freely available; we claim no ownership of it.

Third-party services

Calendar export works by opening a pre-filled link on calendar.google.com or outlook.com in a new tab when you click it — nothing is sent anywhere unless you act. Flag images and fonts are fetched from third-party CDNs by your browser, as described in the privacy policy. We are not responsible for the availability or privacy practices of third-party services.

No warranty

The Service is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind — express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every value shown will be correct for your purpose. We try to keep the site available but make no uptime commitment.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, truetimeconverter.com and its contributors will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive loss arising from the use of — or inability to use — the Service, or from action taken in reliance on the data it shows, including missed meetings, missed transport, financial loss or data loss. Use the Service at your own discretion and verify anything that matters.

Links to and from other sites

The Service links to related pages and third-party tools (calendar exports, flag CDN, font CDN). Those links are provided for convenience; what happens on other sites is covered by their own terms and policies, not ours.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms as the Service evolves — for example if new features, disclaimer needs or export options appear. The revised version is posted on this page with a new Last updated date, and continued use of the Service after a change counts as acceptance of the revised terms.
